Looking for things to do this Independence Day? How about the day before or the day after?
Several locations below offer pre & post 4th of July festivities!
Fuquay Varina, Garner, Morrisville & Wake Forest all have their Fireworks on July 3rd, while Holly Springs will do theirs on the 5th! Cary's Fireworks are taking place on the 4th but they have festivities on the 3rd to kick-off the holiday celebration!

Celebrate the 4th of July early at the Cary Arts Center for a performance by the Cary Town Band. This year's focus on "What is a Verteran" and will feature guest speaker Deborah Tilton, a Specialist in the NC Army National Guard & decorated veteran. The community celebration & fireworks have moved from the Kenan Memorial Stadium this year to Southern Village, located at 400 Market Street in Chapel Hill. There will be plenty of family fun & activities prior to the fireworks show!

At 10:50 a.m. the parade leaves from Weaver Street Market to the Town Hall. At the town hall starting at 9:30 a.m., enjoy activities, food, games and music.

CLAYTON
4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

July 4th | 4pm | Municipal Park
*FIREWORKS*

Activities include free family field games, free ice cream, free watermelon, a free hose-down by the Clayton Fire Department and a free concert. Also look out for food vendors, a cornhole tournament, inflatables and fair rides, bingo and raffles throughout the night. The fireworks shoot off at dark and often the live music, inflatables and rides will run another half hour after the show.

CHILDREN'S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION AT THE STATE CAPITOL
July 4th | 11am-3pm | NC State Capitol
*No Fireworks*

This Raleigh tradition includes a naturalization ceremony for new citizens, the reading of the Declaration of Independence and patriotic music by Raleigh Concert Band. It also features carriage rides, a couple of food trucks, and lots of free family-friendly activities, like quill writing, “Pie the Redcoat,” and a chance to dress up as a Revolutionary era citizen.

July 4th | 6pm | PNC Arena

Please note, this will take place at the PNC Arena. Gates open at 6pm and then the fireworks start around 9:30pm. Bring a picnic, as there will be no food or beverages for sale.
