Wake Forest Mardi Gras

Celebrate Mardi Gras in the Triangle this weekend! Wake Forest is hosting their annual Mardi Gras street festival this weekend, and it is sure to be fun for all ages! The street festival will include a walking parade, children’s activities, contests for people of all ages, merchants, and special discounts throughout the day!

Run for the Roses 5K
Sunday (2/11), 2pm, Raleigh

This Valentine’s Day weekend put your legs to good use and help raise money for Canines for Veterans while also celebrating the 38th annual Run for the Roses 5k! This is a family friendly race good for moms, dads, teens, and strollers alike. Little ones wanting to show off their skills? There will be a kids fun run at 3pm, and fun activities (including face painting!) for the little ones.

Plus, all female finishers get a little extra love with a rose as they cross the finish line!
